2007 Pinot Noir - Santa Rita Hills

This year's Santa Rita Hills blend is composed mostly of wine produced from Rancho Santa Rosa Vineyard with support from our estate vineyard, Fe Ciega. This blend was created from selected barrels of each vineyard designated lot to yield a wine that was the most enjoyable as a young wine, since it is our first Pinot Noir release of the year.

The wine has a brilliant medium ruby color. The aromas are a complex mixture of fresh raspberries and cherries with hints of spices in the background. On the palate the wine is very lively and wonderfully balanced. This complex blend of Pinot Noir from the esteemed Santa Rita Hills appellation offers tremendous value in a very limited production.

Enjoy with duck, quail and veal dishes, accented with berry-based sauces.
